LENÇOIS MARANHENSES, BRAZIL: A DESERT with a THOUSAND LAGOONS - ALL sights

Lençois Maranhenses is a bizarre natural wonder in the north of Brazil. Nowhere else in the world you can find a desert-like landscape like this combined with a thousand of blue lagoons in half moon shapes. The ecosystem of the National Park of Lençois Maranhenses is quite unique and the falling rain creates a natural swimming paradise during and after the rain season. We hop on a 4x4 to make several adventurous trips to Lagoa Azul, Lagoa Bonito, the beautiful sunset, the beach and the fishermen's town of Atins. We dine at the world famous Sr. Antonio's to try their delicious grilled shrimp. We visit Brazill during a year long trip around the world and we might even keep traveling indefinitely. On new year's we started on Lanzarote and Fuerteventura, the Canary Islands. After that you saw us in Oman, Cape Verde, Martinique, Saint Lucia, Tobago, Grenada, the Bahamas, the United States, Mexico, Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands.
