In the season finale of FOOD HEROES, we meet Rida Hamida, the driving force behind Latino Muslim Unity and the innovative #TacoTrucksAtEveryMosque initiative, a taco truck serving halal tacos outside mosques. Motivated by her own experiences with prejudice as the first hijab-wearing woman to work in public office in conservative Orange County, Rida was determined to create a movement that would bring marginalized communities together to cultivate unity and understanding. #TacoTrucksAtEveryMosque creates a safe haven where "breaking bread by tortilla" becomes a celebration of shared values among communities.
