Places - Lost in Time: Dobwalls Adventure Park

Join this channel to get early access to new videos a week ahead of their public release: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCC8R7kmt-W14zWUcr8mymEQ/join Hello, and welcome back to Places - Lost in Time, a series that looks back on the tale of places and locations that have existing within living memory or photographic record, but are now lost to the pages of history. Something very close to my heart due to my many visits as a child, Dobwalls was one of the Southwest's most cherished tourist attractions, providing family fun for all ages and making a train enthusiast out of everyone who visited thanks to its exceptional mixture of rolling stock and vibrant routes through trees and canyons modelled on the rough railroads of Colorado and Wyoming. Sadly, Dobwalls would not last forever, as rising costs and competition, together with ever increasing health and safety restrictions, meant that the economics simply didn't add up, and in 2006, this jewel of Cornwall's railway scene would make its final runs, with the site now cleared and no evidence left to show that the site ever existed.
